HEX LIBRIS - BACHELORTHESIS

A recurring theme in this portfolio (and in my life) is reading, literature and books.
Unsurprisingly, this also became the topic of my bachelor's thesis.
Reading has long since ceased to have the same status in our society as it did even just a generation ago.
Yet, especially today, we should not forget that regular reading also makes us free and independent thinkers. How can I encourage the most affected group, the people of my generation, young adults, to read more printed books again? The solution: a two-part concept promoted through a campaign:

1: The campaign:The reading-promotion campaign is designed to appeal to people of the 90s generation through nostalgia
and absurdity. There are various playful components such as stickers, an ex-libris seal stamp, and posters  with bookmarks and reversible flyers. A social media channel has also been created. The viewer becomes the user.

2: The HEXX LIBRIS SNEAK PEEK:An event concept in which books are read aloud and simultaneously staged in various forms, e.g., through music, light, or even improv actors and drag queens. It is communicated through an adaptable set of rules.

3: The HEXX LIBRIS READING ROUTINE GUIDE: A system book consisting of a book cover and three individual A5-format booklets that can be replaced as needed.
The first booklet contains a guide on how to build up a sustainable reading routine, the second seven different reading tracking templates for tracking your reading behaviour by hand, and the third booklet serves as a notebook.
The guide also has two colours of ink. The inspiration for this colour scheme came from the book
‘The Neverending Story’ by Michael Ende. Petrol-coloured ink represents the normal text of the guide.
Orange represents the author's (my) thoughts.
The book offers several ways to engage with the integration of a reading routine.
